eSchool.ie (Bessexwell Lane, off Shop St., Drogheda) offers in-house and on-site intermediate level training starting from scratch in website design and creation using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Dreamweaver and Photoshop. To complement our training we also offer a course in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Our aim is to provide hands on training designed to connect the beginning student to the topic whilst facilitating advancement to an intermediate level of knowledge.
A free CD is supplied which contains all class notes, additional assignments & notes, all software used, and a bundle of useful utilities.
In general, a tutorial style of teaching is employed with the emphasis on practical experience following a short presentation, with some modules requiring a more academic approach.
All course software is free except for Photoshop & Dreamweaver which are 30 day trial versions.
Courses are priced at €49 per half day / evening (3 hrs excluding break) & €99 per full day (6 hrs excluding breaks) for a fixed class size of 5.
Courses are held on the weekend.
On site training is available on request.
The Instructor
Trained as a software Systems Engineer (EDS International SE, London ‘87) and a member of the British Computer Society (MBCS ‘09), Albert Byrne (Ardee) has worked as an analyst programmer, team leader, project manager, IT trainer, department head and teacher. His experience covers all age groups from 8 years to adult.
Presently he is developing an online business in Asian tea culture and also hopes to sell other items via his information based websites. He carries out all necessary web site design, graphics, advertising & construction work himself.
He has worked with many different nationalities in various countries and speaks Spanish. He aims to connect with his students ensuring the best possible outcome.
